Winter in Lapland is time of relaxing, events and activities. The twilight time with moon, stars and Northern lights. The presentiment of the sun giving the nature its blue - purple - orange - veil colours and white snow that lightens the Nature with its thick fur on the threes and on the ground. The time of adventures and snow activities! White clouds on the bright blue sky. White snow and green trees, gliding tracks and crust of snow and the long days - They all call us together to the longest tracks and trails.

The unique experience of summer in Lapland includes then nightless night or midnight sun when the sun doesn’t set at all, day or night. The colourful autumnal shades of the ruska period is a sign of nature making its preparations for the winter. Summer and autumn are excellent times for hiking on Tunturis - hills of Lapland, canoeing on lakes and rivers and mountainbiking on small sand roads and forest paths.

We start most of our tours in Lapland from Rauhala Village in Kittilä. Rauhala is located between Muonio and Levi Ski Resort - ca. 30 km to both. Distance from Ylläs Ski Resort (Äkäslompolo Village) is ca. 40 km.
